Bear Root Farm - owned by Brian and Victoria Mininger - is a small scale Permaculture Farm based in Greenville, VA with a focus on edible and perennial gardens and an active apiary.

The farm, gardens and apiary are primarily run by Victoria - with Brian lending his building knowledge to all the various projects that happen on a small farm.

Victoria has always had a love of gardening and is happiest when her hands are in the dirt. As a certified Permaculture Designer, Victoria brings a wealth of knowledge and permaculture practice to their small farm.

Along with tending and nurturing the almost 1 acre of gardens, Victoria is enjoying learning the art of beekeeping alongside her mentor, Michael. You can find local honey, and other seasonal products at the retailers listed above.
